This was the same problem I had with people wanting him to be The Doctor.
He has a different fandom. It would be so freaking weird and awkward and difficult for Benedict Cumberbatch if he were part of both of these fandoms. The guy already looks like he doesn’t sleep more than 5 hours a week sometimes. Just… no. It wouldn’t work.
He’s already going to have trouble getting rid of his Sherlock persona, it would not be a good idea for him to have a Doctor Who persona as well. It would be like if Daniel Radcliffe was in Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings.
I really hope he isn’t The Master.
